In this solo exhibition by Susan Buroker, she unveiled her lifelong connection to Long Island's landscapes, where the sea and land hold sacred significance. Her typical practice is usually to sit in the landscape, reflecting back into the world the poetry nature is creating. It is the raw material for her paintings and sculptures.
Susan’s work leads us to hidden places where the sacredness of the land is revealed - inviting viewers to let go of the familiar and embrace the unknown.
